hey time flies when you're playing a hundred shows and not sleeping well ( and having fun)

It's been a minute since I last updated this thing! I think about a week? A quick recap:: we played 10 shows in 5 days at SXSW which was one of the most exhilarating and simultaneously exhausting things I have ever done in my life. The routine was seriously wake up, find coffee, drive to a show, load in, play said show, hang out and listen to bands, load out, get more coffee, play another show..pass out..rinse and repeat. And since I love all of those things, and since we had enough coffee-it ended up being one of the best 5 days I've had in a long time.

After SXSW we played shows in Dallas at RBC, Hot Springs at a festival called Valley of the Vapors, Fayetteville (AK) at Backspace, and today we are in Springfield (MO) playing at outland this evening. We are playing right before Karaoke Night, which sounds like it'll be a great time. I really enjoy when we do gigs that seem to make no sense whatsoever, because they always turn out to be the most interesting of evenings...more on that tomorrow after it's over!

We have 3 more shows before we are home again. We have some big news for our next album that we'll be sharing in the next week or so...in the meantime here are some scattered pictures and stories from the past week.

*edit.this coffee shop internet is not really working....so more pictures to come when there is functional internet.

SXSW official Showcase was at Swan Dive presented by Old Flame Records and Outer Orbit Booking. We played with our good buds Dawg Yawp, and Frontier Folk Nebraska (both out of Cincinnati).
